Work

By Peter Drucker : Work, we know, is both a burden and a need, both a curse and a blessing. Unemployment we long ago learned creates severe psychological disturbances, not because of economic deprivation, but primarily because it undermines self-respect. Work is an extension of personality. It is achievement. It is one of the ways in which a person defines himself or herself, measures his worth, and his humanity. Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices

JULY, new month, new post.

Echo to R.W blog...I was nervous about getting into my new role as a Area Governor for Area W2, a role that taking 5 Toastmasters Club under my care, over 130 members, one of the Area that with huge membership as well as high achievements. I kept thinking how to manage and how to perform at my role before and after I took up the role until yesterday suddenly the message struck my mind, is not how well I performed. Is how well I carried the role of Area Governor. Everthing back to basic, joined toastmasters is for the benefits of myself to improve on my communications skills. Being the President of HELP TMC is for the benefits of the members, Being the AG is for the benefits of the members, Now I'm going to think how can I touch them and inspire them like how I was inspired. At EOD, is only what the grass root members remember how I helped them. As a AG..more to be learn, learn to be more. hehe..let's not take ourself too seriously...enjoy life!
