Memories

When you all (my siblings), suggested to start with this family blog, I was thinking to myself, " a blog for us to log our memories, that's a great idea". Since young, I don't practice writing diary for myself. Very often, I could barely remember what had happened. Recently, I found myself even hard to remember the route to my intented destination. I tried using PDA as a reminder of what I should do. But it's spoilt now. Come to think of it, I seems to have lose touch to my family. Only recently, with Ernest & Cass to suggest the various family gathering, then only I realise, I have been out of home most of the time. Only about 3 years ago, I started to go home more often. Then I realised, all my siblings, they are all grown ups! And there were family incidents that I feel I should pay more attention to all of them. (Sadly though, I got to know more about my sister through her blog). I hope to read more of your posting here, and I will post mine too. :) T.W.

Suggestion for those who like to write biographies

Dear all, It would be a waste to not to remember your own stories, however I do share the same feelings like RW as well..I always forgot about my daily encounters.. So to make sure you capture some of the most juicy story of your life and put it into a series of stories for your children or whoever to read...write it down in a blog or your own lil journal somewhere in your closet or a locked drawer with password safe to unlock it. hehe..as for you...my bro...you can write all the things here..hehe...from your college to your night life to your working life to your whatever life..lol..

Writing Diary

I know the importance of keeping my memories since i was 14. I started to write diary everyday. (almost) This is my insistence of writing diary - To keep memories. Memories last forever. Recalling the bits and pieces makes me feel warm. Now, I've total 743 entries in my diary. I still remember my naughty childish rude happy memories at SMKPP. Arguments i had with my family, friends, bla bla. Experiences, lessons i've learned. Stupidity and chidishness of mine.. Sometimes, by looking back what you've done, you'll know that life ain't that hard. As long as you've made the first move. Don't be afraid to try. Thats really one thing i've learned and kept reminding myself. Lets magnified the happy times but not the sad ones. Appreciate presents. The Blogger : CassandraW.

Long forgotten

It's an interesting idea to post all our memories here so to serve its purpose.... however, as i aged, i tend to not remember much of everything. Not by purpose but just seems that all the memories are slowly, but surely, slipping away.... come to think of it, i couldn't recall anything that's from 3 years ago.... did anything happen during then? I always fear that one day i would not remember and lose all the memories of me growing up.... i always ask myself what would it be if i could no longer remember the stories of my own life... it would be really sad... do you guys have the same fear as i do? RW

DIDO

I was out from my office at 7pm->went to buy Famous fried chicken at Pudu makan street- walk over to LRT station-> stop at 7-11 to buy a Nescafe - reach Maluri station walk to my car-> reached home safely.
While I stepped out from the office, I stopped and look up the sky, starring at the bright blue sky and thinking to myself..hmm...another day..without really doing much at work.. Day in Day Out..another week...lol..
This is one of those story that you forgotten if you too busy with your life...the conversation was between cass and me.. "do you remembered how you used to con me to shut the door when I wanted to sleep?" "I have no idea..did I do anything funny?"
"Yes, I remembered you used to tell, there will be zombie coming in the middle of the night if I don't shut the door..."
lol...I totally forgot about it..come to think of it..all this small anecdotes are long forgotten because of our busy schedule..day in day out..
Well, since this blog is up...there's a purpose for it..why don't we gather the our memories and post it up so that this blog serve its purpose..hehe..
keep the ball rolling guys...

Purpose

There should be a purpose to everything we do... even if the purpose sounds stupid to others, but as long as it means something to you then, by all means, go and do it.
Now, even setting up this blog has its purpose(s). I proposed to have this because:
  1. to record all events happenings, be it family gathering or normal day hangout.
  2. to record all makan makan experience, be it family makan time or when we are out makan-ing with friends or alone.
  3. to have a space where we can share our experiences with our friends and all our cousins la, long lost relatives la and etc...
so have fun, and hopefully this will blossom into something that we can be proud of.... RW
